Fred began his painting career as a plein air painter in oils, and still enjoys teaching and working in that genre. However, since moving into the studio, he has devoted most of his works to large abstract landscape narrative paintings, referring to them as “Dreamscapes.” Fred loves capturing the light and shadows influenced by the Arizona desert.
