Hello Artists! My name is Lauren Edgar and I'm the Director of Artists in Arizona. I'm also known as The Artist Career Coach. I have over twenty years of experience as an artist coach, representing artists, preparing their art for review by galleries and preparing exhibits of their work. I assist artist's with their art marketing and offer individual coaching sessions. I am an art writer and develop artist bios and statements as well as write art essays about their work. Public Relations services are offered to assist in promoting exhibits and provide additional exposure. 

Art is my passion. I was the co-owner and Sales Director of two an art gallery in Scottsdale. I have represented artists, booking gallery and museum shows for them. I was honored to be the Chairwoman of an Arts Commission. Through these varied experiences and myyears in the art world, I have developed a deep understanding of what works and what doesn't in the art world. I have helped hundreds of artists from emerging to mid-career levels and I can definitely help you too.

My coaching is goal-oriented. Prior to our session, I will review your artwork, website and Instagram pages. I will read your bio and statement, and learn about your exhibit history. On the designated appointment day we will meet by phone or Facetime (call to request an in-person session.) During our session, I will provide answers to your concerns and questions and devise a strategy with the steps needed to achieve your goals. Your coaching session will provide the clarity you need to move forward, and you will come away with a renewed sense of direction that will get you on the path to success!
