Images must be 300dpi at the size they appear. Send up to four images for the 2-page spread section and a personal photo for the bio section

Below you will find some helpful information about image sizes you may use in your layout. This information is only to assist you in understanding the resolution that we will need to print your images. 

LARGE IMAGES 

Vertical - The largest size for one vertical image on one page (as per our example here) is 6 inches wide. That means we need an image that is at 300 dpi at 6" wide.

Horizontal - The largest size for one horizontal image on one page would be 6 to 7 inches wide. That means we need an image that is at 300 dpi at 6" to 7'" wide.

SMALLER IMAGES

Example:

If you would like to fit three images on a left hand page, most of those would be around 4" wide depending on orientation. We would recommend that you provide 300 dpi for a 5" wide image to provide some flexibility in your layout.

PERSONAL IMAGES

Your personal image for the bio section will appear as a 2 inch square image. Please provide an image that is a maximum of 3" wide at 300 dpi.

Last year, some artists sent in a sketch of how they would like their images on their layout. You are welcome to do that, as long as you are following a similar grid. 

We will provide you with a proof of your 2-page layout prior to printing. When we send it to you please take the time to proofread it and make sure your information is correct. You will also receive a form to sign to approve the final layout.

We will start laying out the book after November 15, 2024. Please allow up to three weeks to receive your proof. Thank you for your attention to all these details!
