LIN BOUCHER

Lin Boucher is an artist working from her home studio in Sun City West, Arizona. Her pastel paintings consistently garner top recognition in state and national art shows. Her favorite subjects usually have four legs, yet she strives to capture the realistic essence and beauty in everything she paints. Lin grew up in northern California and Denver, Colorado where she graduated from the Kent Denver School and attended Colorado State University.

Following a career in the medical business she now makes her home in the desert southwest. She has always loved to draw and is immersed in soft pastels where her attention to detail is evident in all her paintings. The very realistic renderings show her connection to her subjects. she hopes her animal paintings make us mindful of all creatures and our

responsibility to be their caring stewards. Lin accepts pet and large animal portrait commissions from her own photographs. She has painted many of the horses and riders who come to Arizona each winter for team roping and rodeo. Belonging to several art organizations, Lin enters juried exhibitions and has won several Best in Show awards as well as Peoples Choice.
