shannon taggart

In 2019, Shannon joined the Sonoran Arts League in Cave Creek, AZ. Her art was included in multiple gallery shows and she earned juried Bronze Medal awards from The Camelback Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ. Ms. Taggart was also featured in the 2020 Fall/Winter issue of Creative Artist Magazine.

Currently, Shannon is enjoying success as a gallery artist art utilizing Yupo paper and ink as well as acrylics. She has developed a 3-D technique using Yupo paper and a soldering iron that allows the cut-out subject of the piece to "lift" off the page affording extra depth and excitement to her projects. Shannon has a passion for bright, vibrant colors and is unafraid to experiment with techniques and tools to bring her art to life.

In her newest venture with Le Galeriste, based in Montreal Canada, Shannon has found a way to share her talents within the realm of Wearable Art. Her abstract designs translate beautifully to clothing, enhancing both the style of the clothing and uniqueness of the art. "See Art...BE Art" is her tagline for this newest creative journey.

When asked how she would describe her newly found ways of expressing herself through her art, Ms. Taggart simply replied she was, "Living an Amazing Life One Color at a Time!"
