JACQUE KELLER

We are all guilty of it—being distracted, being so single-minded or serious that we miss something meaningful. I like those subtle reminders in an ordinary day that show us how to be more grateful, moments that prompt us to be involved in meaningful tasks, or that cause us to realize once again that our very existence is ephemeral. These occasions are not negligible, but immense. Our consciousness addresses the sameness in our lives and replaces it with diversity, analysis, and hopefully, action by the sheerness of adjusting an attitude. Hopefully, my art has that effect--adjusting attitudes with contemplation, a sense of wonder, or subtle humor. And I am grateful…

Medium: Painting, Acrylic

Style: Animals, Figurative, Landscape, Nature, Still Life, Wildlife

JACQUE KELLER

Jacque L. Keller is an internationally-collected creative who after being a student at the Toledo Museum of Art’s Youth Studies Program began painting professionally in the early 1980s. She also attended the University of Toledo and Arizona State University’s School of Art. She began as a muralist and now specializes in animal eyes, animal portraiture, trompe l’oeil, and commissioned artwork. Jacque’s goal with her art is image diversity--from portraiture to non-representational works. For over four decades, Jacque was a signature member of art associations and has exhibited to great reviews--and many awards--in England, Washington, Louisiana, Florida, Illinois, Utah, Arizona, and more including many solo and group exhibitions. Her work Nature Watch is now in the slide registry at the Royal Academy of Art in London. Jacque’s works on wood, canvas, and metal are included in prestigious private, corporate, and public collections, and are eagerly collected and commissioned worldwide. Her artwork is currently represented by her fine art company Quan’tum Art, Inc. QAI--located in the renowned Scottsdale Art District, Arizona--is owned and managed by Jacque and fellow artists John Gleason and Suzanne Larson.
