Art and Provence
La Maison de Beaumont is located in the small village of Luberon, which is in the Provence region in the south of France. It has been lovingly renovated with respect for local traditions and building materials.
The Provence region of France has been a magnet for artists throughout history. This, of course, includes post-impressionist painter, Paul Cezanne, who famously painted Mont Sainte-Victoire, with other artists following in his footsteps such as van Gogh, Gauguin, and many more. Even Picasso couldn’t resist the charms of Provence, where he purchased his last home, the Château de Vauvenargues, which faces the north side of Mont Sainte-Victoire.
The Atelier & Music Room
For visual artists guests at La Maison de Beaumont, there is also an opportunity to work in their atelier and music room space (shown), and you may request to exhibit your artwork there too.
