We are excited to announce a new opportunity to showcase our distinguished group of artists. Yes! We are launching a podcast!
CALLING ALL MEMBERS! Expand your audience as listeners learn more about you and your art on Artists in Arizona LIVE! our new Podcast!
The podcast will be hosted by Lauren Edgar, the Director of Artists in Arizona. She is also an artist coach and has interviewed numerous artists over the years so she could learn more about them to write their artist statements, bios and essays and press releases. She is experienced in asking the kinds of questions that tap into the essence of an artist.
"Every artist that I have ever met, or worked with, has had a fascinating story, whether about themselves or their artwork, or both. Today, we are inviting all members of Artists in Arizona to share their unique stories on our new podcast!" - Lauren Edgar, Director
The purpose of the podcast will be to expand your audience as people will learn more about you and your art. We’ll go behind the scenes to discuss the motivations and inspirations of why you create your art and more.
Each show will begin with an introduction of the artist, including their name, medium and style of art. An excerpt of their artist statement or bio will be read so that the audience has an idea of your background and intention of your work.
At the end of the podcast we will invite the listener to visit your website and contact you to learn more about you and your artwork. We will post a visual and your contact information on our website under the podcast tab we will create.
Each show will be approx. 30 minutes in duration.
We will record each program during a Zoom call. Artists may choose to do an audio or video Zoom call. We will not be posting the video. The video format may help make you feel more comfortable during our interview.
The concept is to run the interviews as close to live as possible. Light editing will be done to ensure we have a great interview.
